For years Rene Froger has been one of the greatest Dutch pop artists.
He scored many number 1 hits, he received gold and platinum albums and many awards, and he performed in the major venues, halls and stadiums in The Netherlands.
He was the first Dutch artist to sell out the football stadium De Kuip in Rotterdam, a venue where many international artists such as The Rolling Stones, U2 and Madonna have given concerts. In a unique ‘in the round’ setting, Rene Froger sings his greatest hits, spectacular covers, special medleys in front of over 50,000 fans.
Besides his live band, the concert includes a large show ballet, guest performances, and graphics and video effects specially designed for the show.
The DVD also includes a backstage programme with comments by, among others, Rene Froger, the producer, the manager, the light and sound designer, the music director, the choreographer and the TV director.
