Frank Castien is appointed by SYOGOC, Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee as a media and broadcast supervisor for the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games, the first Olympic Games for youth which will be held in Singapore from 12 - 26 August 2010.

Frank Castien is appointed as production manager and consultant for a new candid camera show with Dutch celebrities. The show, which is already an international succesful format, will be broadcasted in The Netherlands on NET5 and is produced by the well know Dutch production company Blazhoffski. The duration of the show is 45 minutes and contains 8 episodes.

After several years of research, editing and colorgrading the DVD moviebox of the the Castien Family is finished in May, 2010. The footage of 5,5 hours of the 4 DVD box contains the original film, soundless, recordings during 1962 and 1978 in chronological order by year and shows the life of the five members of the Castien Family. Besides the footage there are subtitles added to the movie that explained each action as well as the original hitsongs of the specific years to the movie. The most well known voice-over in the Netherlands, Rinie van den Elzen added special commentary on the DVD. Besides this the DVD box contains also original material of the news shows of the Netherlands of a specific year (own as "the Pologoon Journals"). The editing, colorgrading and sound design took place in a professional editing studio. A special cover and inlay is designed by a well known artwork company of the Netherlands. The project is certainly the masterpiece of Frank Castien Productions.
MAY 2010Frank Castien Productions is elected as key company of The Netherlands by the famous Dutch radio show "Arbeidsvitaminen" at the Dutch national radio station 3FM on May 12th 2010. AVRO's "Arbeidsvitaminen" is the world's longest on-air radio show (64 years) and one of the leading programs in The Netherlands. Besides a lot of popular music from the past and present the show contains interesting daily subjects, special guests and pays attention to companies with certain interests and goals.
MARCH 2010The AV & Entertainment magazine (main magazine concerning entertainment, shows, events and television in The Netherlands) published a five pages article about the production of the Opening and Closing Ceremony of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games by Frank Castien. Frank Castien participated in the production of the Opening and Closing Ceremony during the game time period. David Atkins Enterprises Productions was appointed by VANOC as the executive producer for both Ceremonies as well as for the Medal Ceremonies at BC Place. The article is online available as well.
FEBRUARY 2010Frank Castien Productions is asked by VANOC (The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Winter Games) to take part on the production of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games which will be held from February 12- 28 2010 in Vancouver, Canada. David Atkins Enterprises Productions is appointed as the executive producer of the Ceremonies.

Frank Castien is widening his international language skills by styding the Spanish language since March 2009. In March/April he studied for three weeks at TLC Denia, a language school in Spain. Since August 2010 he is studying Spanish at Iber Lengua, a language school in Haarlem, The Netherlands.

JANUARY 2010Frank Castien Productions is asked by Eyeworks (creative, independent and all-round international television production company founded in the Netherlands) to take part in the production of the live TV show by three Dutch broadcasters for the fund-raising campaign of the joint relief organisations, in aid of the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. In the programme the Dutch people are asked to donate money for this campaign.

AUGUST 2008 - FEBRUARY 2009Fabulous concert serie of the most famous and succesfull popartist in Holland, Marco Borsato. The 8 shows in a big soccer stadium were all sold out, total amount of fans: 250.000! The concert is part of a triptych White Light, including a CD and Film release. JULY - DECEMBER 2008 Four spectaculair live shows of Lionel Richie in a big soccer stadium in Holland including his live band, a big symphonic orchestra and many support acts. The totally amount of spectators was over 120.000. The shows are the third edition of the famous Dutch Symphonica in Rosso show concept.
